Ingredients:
1 cup barley
3 cups chicken stock
½ tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. salt
½ tsp. chili pepper
½ tsp. ground black pepper
1 tsp. butter
1 tsp. olive oil

Method:

  1. Place barley and olive oil in the pan.
  2. Roast barley on high heat for 1 minute. Stir it well.
  3. Then add salt, chili pepper, ground black pepper, cayenne pepper, and butter.
  4. Add chicken stock.
  5. Close the lid and cook barley for 40 minutes over the medium-low heat.
  6. Enjoy!
